Aureus uses essential session technology to support invited account access and security.

Essential session cookie

The aureus_session cookie is set after a successful sign-in. It is HttpOnly, Secure on production HTTPS, and SameSite=Lax. It supports authenticated access and expires after 12 hours unless you sign out sooner. Its value is an opaque identifier; the server stores a hash.

Other technical storage

Hosting and infrastructure providers may use necessary technical mechanisms for delivery and security. The current Aureus release does not add advertising cookies or a third-party advertising analytics integration. Fonts and other network resources may generate requests to their providers.

Your choices

You can delete or block cookies in your browser. Blocking the essential session cookie prevents access to the private workspace and documentation. Sign out to revoke the current session. Contact Aureus through the contact form with questions.
